Well I sure am glad it is Friday. Not that I will get a break from writing and working on my webmaster skills, but it will be nice to have my husband around for a few days.
I dream of the day when I can tell him, honey you can quit your job, I make enough for the both of us. He has worked so hard to support our family and keep us stable over the years. I want to thank him for that.
As I look over the week that has just past, I am glad to have all of my projects completed. I finished up the content for the vacuum and sewing machine website today. I enjoyed writing it and I hope I get to do a lot more of them in the future. It was much faster for me than writing articles. It pays a little better too.
I am just glad that I can actually earn some money while I work on my websites. It makes it a lot easier to justify all of the time that I spend online these days.
Here's an update on my Constant-Content affiliate referrals.
As of about an hour ago, I had 38 authors signed up with CC. I can see the new authors that I have referred are starting to submit content and have their articles accepted by the editor. I am happy to have provided them with the information they needed to start making money writing articles online.
Until next time,
Mary

Off on a Tangent
Hello again!
While I was recently writing articles about credit cards, I discovered that I have a great story to share with my online community. I have struggled with paying off credit for years and it is finally coming together for me. I can see my balances going down, and feel good about paying my bills early rather than late.
I was jotting down notes in my word pad about the things I could do online with that idea, and I thought, why not write it in my blog? We are all here to earn and learn right?
Here it is:
I am going to start a blog, a squidoo lens, and a debt group on Google Groups to gain some popularity on the subject. I'm thinking of trying to get a few articles on Digg to go to the top of the list. (Even though I haven't done anything with Digg yet)
I think this would be a good way to get some support for people who need it most. Yes, I'm doing it! I'll post the details here when I get them worked out later.
Here's what I'm working on today:
I have been hired to post in a poker & casino forum--this is fun for me, like a coffee break of sorts.
I have been posting in a work at home forum also, I just wish there were more people to talk to there. I really like the owner of it, and I think I will stick around there for awhile because eventually it will be a good venue for me to sign up new and aspiring writers for Constant-Content. I currently have 35 authors signed up beneath me, but only one has made any money. Not too bad at all since I've only been writing for them since the end of January.
I have two articles left to write about credit cards and personal finance, however, I have been hired to write for them on an ongoing basis. So it looks like I will always be writing about credit cards and other finance topics.
I am going to write a few credit card articles and submit them to Constant-Content to up my paypal balance at the end of the month. There have been no requests for these, but that is what is so great about CC, you can write about whatever you want.
Here's what I've already done today:
1. Took the kids to school
2. Laundry all day
3. Cut my mother's hair--with my cool Flow-bee hair cutting system
4. I cooked my my 5 year old and my Great Grandmother breakfast and lunch--she's been living with our family since August of 2006 and is 98 soon to be 99. Do I need to say more?
So now it is time to write some articles so that I can buy groceries this week. You know how it is right?

Get Paid While You Sleep
This day began early for me. I checked my emails as soon as I woke up to find that I had been paid via Paypal for 4 articles that I submitted to my buyer yesterday.
I just love the fact that while I'm sleeping, I can get paid for my hard work.
The internet has become my whole source of income after only a few months and I am proud to share this experience with all of you.
It is a lot of hard work, no get rich quick schemes here, that's for sure. Sometimes I wonder how I am going to be able to write 4 more articles on ceiling fans. How much is there to be said about them? I hate to use the same concept over and over again. I like to write article that are completely unique, so I never re-write the articles that have already been written by me.
I submitted the first of six articles on personal finance that I was contracted to write to the requester and I am now waiting to hear from them on whether they liked the article or not.
I always worry that it will not be what they had hoped for, usually to get loads of compliments on what I had wrote. Why do writers worry? Fear of not getting more articles to write I guess.
Today I think I shall write about credit cards that offer rewards. I think this is a subject that should be easy enough to find 500 words of interesting information for me to write about.
I had better go and get started on it, yesterday's topic of How to Build Credit After High School, took a little longer than expected for me to complete. But, it's the first time I've been hired to write on personal finance so I just want to make sure everything is perfect before submitting it.
I should also mention that I spent most of the day yesterday working to get this blog hosted on my domain maryscontent.com . I ended up giving up on it after I couldn't get Blogger to publish to my ftp account and just using the blogspot domain that was offered.
Maybe one day I'll figure it out and have it hosted there, until then I will just place a link from my home page.
So now I am off to make some money....
Until next time,
Mary

My First Post
Welcome and thanks for reading my first post. I should be working on articles that I have been hired to compose, but I thought I would go ahead and start tracking my success now, before I get any busier.
I've already come a long way from where I started just a few months back. I'm now making a regular income from freelance writing while I learn about how to create websites.
I want to own a good website but first I must learn a few things about just getting a website up and running. I started off with a pre-made template for my portfolio. I wanted to do this so that I can apply for an account with Google Adsense. I'd like to have my account already for when I do aquire a good website.
If you would like to check out my website that is full of information about my writing, pricing, and other skills, go to http://maryscontent.com and feel free to look around.
If you are an author looking to make money online please visit my website and click on the link for authors, there is a website there that might be very profitable for you., and it's free to join.
I'd like to hear from you, whether you are seeking to make money online, or if you have a suggestion for me on how to increase my income, please leave a comment and I'll get right back to you.
Here's what Mary is working on today:
I have six articles to write on personal finance topics, using eight different keywords having to do with credit cards and credit repair.
I am also currently writing descriptions for a website that sells vacuum cleaners and sewing machines.
For a kick, I've been posting in forums for pay. Yes they pay me for my posts. It's not enough to pay the mortgage, but it is fun and it sure gives my Paypal account a nice boost over the period of a whole month.
